About us
City Mules is the ultimate London Removals and Delivery Service. Based in Chalk Farm, NW London, our removal service offers a complete and stress-free removal experience.
We are also available 24/7 and at short notice, providing we have available vehicles.Our movers are courteous, dedicated and fully trained and will go beyond the call of duty!
Unlike most removal companies, we also offer a £10000 cover as standard on your goods whilst in transit.
City Mules also offers a removals & delivery service for the design, media and furniture industry. As the last link in the chain, we appreciate the importance of doing an excellent job.
We offer a wide range of services:

Trade moves
Antique furniture deliveries
Art and large canvasses
Transportation of company goods i.e. furniture,equipment etc.
Contract work
Deliveries for the furniture industry

Packing materials ordered on your before

Tariffs
1 man & van with up to £10000 cover: £50 per hour*
2 men & van with up to £10000 cover: £60 per hour*
3 men & van with up to £10000 cover: £70 per hour*
After the first hour, we then charge in 15 minute increments. This is not only the fairest way to price a job but it also keeps the price down.
*Please note that we do not charge VAT.
**Please note that the above prices apply solely for movers working on the same job and at the same location.If a person or company hires movers to carry out seperate jobs on seperate locations then each job will be charged individually.
Experience has taught us that giving a fixed quote per job is unfair on our customers and therefore on ourselves. We understand that in the course of having your goods moved, unexpected things arise. With this in mind, we prefer to give you an hourly rate based on your needs.
Extras
Sundays, Bank holidays and all jobs outside business hours (9am - 6pm) will incur a £5 surcharge per hour.
Packing service
All our packers are fully trained to handle your goods with care.
* Wrapping of fragile items, furniture etc...
* Dismantling and reassembling of furniture.
* We also advise that packing take place a day
before the move.
Each packer costs £20 per hour.
Packing materials
We provide all the necessary packing materials such as Multi-kits, boxes, ward-robe boxes, bubble wrap, plastic sheeting, masking tape etc... Please email us for more details. info@citymules.co.uk
Waiting time: The full hourly rate will be charged.
It is your responsibility to provide us with parking dispensations whenever needed. If we incur any form of parking fine whilst carrying out a job for you, this will automatically be added onto your final invoice.
Contract Work
If you are satisfied with our services and wish to open an account with us, we can provide you with rates specifically designed for your purposes
Vehicles
We use Volkswagen Lutons with tail-lifts and therefore are best equipped for the delivery of heavy and/or large furnishings. A Luton can hold up to 700 cubic feet.
Work Hours
Jobs within a 5 mile radius of our depot start the moment the movers get on site and ends the moment the job has finished.
All other jobs are priced from depot to depot, charging half time on the return journey.
Insurance
Our insurance covers your property for up to £10000. It is therefore your responsibility to inform us if your property exceeds this amount.

I was thrilled with City Mules. They arrived on time, were incredibly friendly and did a remarkable job.
I have 3 kids and was dreading my moving day but actually, thanks to City Mules it went like a dream! And nothing got broken which truly is a miracle!

I run a very successful London based Interior Design company and often use City Mules. They haven't let me down once and I can honestly say that they are probably the best delivery company I have found to date. I would certainly rather pay a little extra in exchange for the outstanding service that they provide. The guys are aslo unbelieveably friendly and really make you feel at ease. I booked City Mules for a house move not long ago and they were absolutely fantastic. The movers were very friendly, conscientious and unbelieveably efficient. Much to my amazement they didn't take a single break! They just wanted to get the job done. They are also cheap compared to many other companies and frankly offer a far better service than any company I have used in the passed. Use these guys and you won't regret it.
