I am Brazilian who has lived in London for 9 great years.
I love to take my camera to film different subjects around London and worldwide.
For the last 8 years I have used a DV mini camcorder camera and haven't wasted any time as I have filmed London/Brazil and produced/edited an 85 minute experimental docufilm called A-Z Brasil-London. I held a private screening at the Tate Modern in December 2006.
Final Cut and After Effects are the two applications that I use.
I have just purchased the Sony HDV Z1 to start shooting professionally as freelance.
